Corinthian
There are three types of columns that the Ancient Greeks used to stabilize their buildings and to add decoration and design. They have used marble and stone to build with. The three styles of pillars are Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. The doric pillars are very plain pillar that goes up in an A shape. The Ionic pillars have a swirl on the capital and they have a straight shape, although the Corinthian column is more decorative, the Ionic pillars had a sturdy base.
